We charge a low fixed administration fee of hour worked per nurse or carer.

You will be paired with a nurse that is available and apply the job. All our nurses are rigorously vetted. You can also request nurses who have previosuly worked with you.

Each nurse carer or support worker has a complete profile including their skills and experience and compliance checklist  

We take compliance checks seriously. We interview the most promising applicants who complete rigorous compliance checks including Right to Work, DBS Check, References, NMC PIN and Mandatory training certificates. We continue to make ongoing compliance & quality checks. 

We will do the initial and ongoing checks of the nurses. The nurses upload their NMC proof of registration, Indemnity Insurance, Hepatitis B Vaccination (immunisation status), DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) Enhanced Certificate. However, it is the practice’s responsibility to check all appropriate documents and any additional documents required for them to work in your practice. Nurse24 will not take responsibility for any checks carried out.

Unfortunately, life can happen. If for whatever reason a nurse or carer doesn’t show up, please let us know. We will re-post the shift immediately for other nurses or carers to accept.

You will be charged 50% of the nurses pay & administration charge.

Billing & Payroll

Yes, we handle the payroll for you. A weekly invoice is raised, and you will pay us. We will then process payroll for the nurses.

You won’t be charged until the shifts are completed and you have confirmed  timesheet and invoices.

You will be asked to setup a payment when setting up your account. If you would like to add a new payment, you can always get in touch with our billing team. You can pay your workers using a credit card or a linked bank account. We accept all major cards like Visa, Mastercard. A valid payment method will need to be in place before hiring, but you’ll be charged only after reviewing the invoice & timesheets before processing payments. 

That’s a great question! The hourly rates are agreed at sign up.  Your Care organisation will be charged a flat hourly fee on top of the hourly rate you pay nurses & carers.

Direct debts are collected the following Thursday after all shifts are confirmed.

Everyone who works in the UK is entitled to earn holiday pay. For every hour someone works they earn 12.07% holiday pay. This is paid on a rolling bases when you employ through Nurse24, so it’s all taken care of for you.
